Insurance often covers windshield replacement with a low or zero deductible in several states, so ask your insurer before paying out of pocket. Window tint laws differ across California and its neighbors, so a reputable tint shop will tell you the legal darkness for each window. For transmission work, ask whether the shop rebuilds in house or installs a remanufactured unit and what warranty comes with each, then compare with the listing's rating and reviews.

San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I recently had to replace my wheel bearings and had such a great experience here. Lenin was super helpful and nice! Everything was clear, straightforward, and easy to schedule. What I appreciated most is that they don’t charge to diagnose the issue, and then they walk you through your options so you can decide what feels right without any pressure.

Called them to get an estimate over the phone. They were great about taking the time to educate and explain what my issues could be and questions I could ask to make sure I wasn't getting duped by other shops I was trying to get additional estimates from. Really appreciated their honesty and suggestions on what to do with my car if I wasn't going to get it repaired. If they treat someone like this who isn't a paying customer, I'm sure they're being equally transparent with their customers.

Please BEWARE....I had a mouse infestation in my engine (I have to park outside) and they were the only ones that specialize in doing a enzyme treatment and high heat cleaning. I had to sign a waiver that there might be things that cannot be seen or damaged before that they can't be responsible for...which seems reasonable. BUT they ended up hosing a transmission sensor that was in perfect working order, and I am now looking at a $550 repair. I think since they are experts they should know there are certain things that should NOT be sprayed with high pressure hot water. I am waiting to hear back from them if there is anything they can do....my guess is they will say that I signed a waiver so tough luck on me. I'm looking into legal action, which is a long shot...but simple fact is don't have $550 bucks to fix my car and these guys as nice as they are basically killed my car.

Remarkable shop. They did a diagnostic for free and confirmed that yes, there were problems with the transmission. Then, rather than quoting a new replacement, they researched and priced a used unit, but forewarned me that even with that, the cost would be likely too high for the value of the car. They were right. All that effort on my behalf with no benefit forthcoming to them. If you are looking for an honest analysis with no hidden agenda, go to these guys. Speak with Lenin who runs it. (Marx and Engels were not around the day I was there. Probably off doing something bougie like skiing.)

I brought my truck in, worried about a potential transmission issue. The team took the time to inspect it thoroughly, and after a detailed look, they determined there was currently nothing wrong. What makes this experience truly exceptional is that they charged no fee for the inspection, made zero attempt to upsell me, and didn't try to fix a non-existent problem. That level of honesty and integrity is incredibly rare and highly valued. They've earned a loyal customer for life. If and when I do need transmission work, this is the only shop I will be taking my business to. Highly recommended for their transparency and excellent service!
